What's up, everybody! Mike from CT here. I'm not really a "tomato guy," but love growing hot peppers and making hot sauce. My newest passion is BBQ. Who am I kidding? "Addiction" is probably a more appropriate description ;)

I met Rajun Gardener elsewhere on the internet, but wanted to congratulate him on starting this forum! Thanks for the invite, RG!

Looking forward to meeting you all, and catching up with others that I might not have talked to in a while! :D

Welcome Mike. We are so glad that Rajun dragged you over here. We have lots of pepper growers, so hopefully you will be learning some things.
We have a BBQ/Smoking thread too. We love that and I would like to see you posting. I smoked some ribs last night too.
Enjoy the site!

I'm glad you made it!

Mike throws some killer BBQ spreads and is a pepper fermenting/hot sauce maker. He should fit right in!

Ha! What's up, bud! You're not sick of seeing 40lbs of pork belly pics over the last couple of weeks? I'll start a thread over here eventually ;)

Hey, I heard the Duck Man might be here too... Anybody seen "DMF"?

I normally grow between 20 and 30 tomato plants and 60 - 80 pepper plants.

I've never heard of pork belly burnt ends before and I'm from the BBQ/burnt end capital of the world!
I've cooked pork belly many times before but always in the oven with an Asian style Hoisin sauce.
I'll have to hop over to the BBQ forum and check it out.

Thanks! I really should make a few more batches soon. I've still got a few gallons of pods in the chest freezer from last year and the year before (and some from 2015! ). Time to start making room in there for this year ;)
