If...and that's a BIG IF...British PM Boris Johnson owns a comb, does he know how to use it...?

He has the same baby fine hair I have, almost impossible to keep combed an I gave up years ago.
And will not use hair spray or some other helmet head stuff.

Me too, add dry, staticky low dewpoint air into the mix and it gets pretty comical. Ultra fine hair has unique physics. Other people essentially have bristles for hair like a razorback hog so I’ll take my very fine, yet messy hair, thank you very much.

@worth1 & @karstopography; I too have unruly/curly hair with a mind of its own, and usually venture out without tending it one whit. I usually just "finger-comb" it back when it's wet and let it dry in place; the most I'll do is apply a little gel so it doesn't blow around in clumps.

That said, and seeing's we're all in the same boat, we're not G-20 leaders; you's may like it but one's appearance-mien matters when you're in such a position and it affects how you and your message are received/perceived.

Should looks matter? No. Do they? Yes! And Johnson comes across like, and I'm not alone on this, a bumbling, disheveled fool.

Stalin, Hitler, Mao all had neat, well ordered hair. So does Putin. Jefferson, Madison, Washington, Franklin tended to all have unruly hair. How about Einstein? Faraday, Dickens, Spinoza, Raphael, Michelangelo, Descartes, Galileo, John Stuart Mill, Newton, Da Vinci, everyone had masses of unruly hair. @@Cornelius_Gotchberg

I've often been misjudged by people as an ignorant hick from the sticks by several people due to my southern accent and unruly hair.
This in many times has been to my advantage.
I have also been embarrassed many times by being called out in front of people by my superiors that I was the smartest person in the group.
Why they think and or say this I have no idea.
Another high ranking person that worked for a petroleum company told me.
I sure am glad your on our side.
What the hell?

One girl at a school I worked at for the highly talented all girls school had some of the most unruly hair I ever saw.
She simply didn't care.
Her father would pick her up every day next to my truck.
Arms loaded down with books.
I bet she becomes something special in her life.

What I can say is only a fool judges a person by their looks.
Unruly hair doesn't make a bumbling fool.
Actions do.

Judge not a person by the style of their hair but by the content of their character.

"What I can say is only a fool judges a person by their looks."

Who's judging anyone by their looks?

"Unruly hair doesn't make a bumbling fool."

Agreed.

"Actions do."

You been auditing Johnson's ACTIONS?

I have; Johnson comes across like bumbling fool because of his actions, not his hair; sheesh!

Boris Johnson won the recent vote within his own party. As far as I know, some were mad he had a gathering at his home during the last year or so, but, likely there’s more to the story. British PMs rise and fall, always have, always will. Churchill was voted out of office 2 months after VE day. What a terrible leader he was the prior six years, no wonder the British electorate voted him out! Churchill then gets another stint as PM from 1951-1955, nostalgia at work, perhaps? Boris Johnson is an admirer of W.Churchill, wrote a biography of sorts about Churchill.

I’m not too worried about the politics of Great Britain, we have enough issues on our own.

Okay so we've come to the conclusion that if you're a ding bat and in public office you need to have nice hair.

The last picture I saw of Boris Johnson looked like he had a recent hair cut. I wonder if it had anything to do with he no confidence vote?

He's just another egotistical politician in my opinion.
Married at least three times tells me he doesn't know or care what devotion love or honesty means regardless of his ideology or hairstyle.

speaking of hair, it is as cole robbie calls it german shepherd fall apart season.
each day i am pulling or brushing massive amounts of hair off my dog, it just doesn't
stop for a few weeks during the summer when they shed their dense inner coat.
it is really easy to tell where the floor hasn't been swept as the hair tumble weeds grow,
and begin to take on a life of their own.

We are losing key people faster than we can hire them.
One guy quit just this week.
Called in sick one day and quit the next for a better job offer..he was running jobs and a foreman.
A key head project manager quit to move to Oregon.
Nobody has replaced the guy that quit on our job.
That leaves three of us to do and complete an old schools fire alarm system.
In a month.
One of those three is the 17 year old.
I was told if anybody can do it we can.
I told them their sights were set a little too high.

Texas grocery store giant HEB will donate $10 million towards the construction of a new elementary school in Uvalde, Texas. Texas contracting firm Joeris and Texas architectural firm Huckabee will donate their services for free.

Where will these kids go to school this fall.
No way can the build a new school that fast.
Possibly portable buildings maybe?
I did that one summer for a new school to be built.
Putting in the fire alarm system.
I was in total charge of the project and totally stressed out.
Now I'm doing a middle school.
Enjoying my last weekend before the mad rush to complete it.
Totally stressed and wore out.

If the penalty for using ANY weapon for other than self defense and hunting type activities, etc., started at a legal minimum of 25 years without chance of parole after a guilty verdict, I think it would prbably chill out things after it was enforced.

Maybe but it wouldn't stop the mass shootings. Most go into it not planning to come out of it alive it seems.

texas is a death penalty state.

that doesn't appear to be stopping people from committing murders there right?
people do not think of the penalty when they are killing someone. they are bent on
violence, pure and simple.
