You should see my wool yarn stash
I knit only socks and keep buying yarn every time I find it on sale.

You hit the nail on the head--I was thinking about another hobby of mine (fading due to...tomato addiction?) and the several forums I have been on over the years, and how it's the same "complaints", trying too many different products that do the same thing, always looking for something new, something better, more efficient techniques.

In the end I guess it's just human nature...or how Thomas Edison invented the light bulb...or something.

Did I mention I ordered some seeds?

@Setec Astronomy; it's very much "human nature" to "mess with" or "one up" things.

Build a better mousetrap kinda thingey? I prefer the...um..."impatience of genius."

"Did I mention I ordered some seeds?"

The timing of that...er...revelation is a tad suspect.

If my sewing machine hadn't given up the ghost I'd still be quilting- the thought makes me shudder. Three decades of cutting up perfectly good fabric into pieces and spending countless hours sewing it back together seems pretty crazy to me now. My time is much better spent researching and memorizing details of every last tomato variety under the sun.
