Welcome from America's Dairyland, just up the road a piece on U.S. Hwy 51 from you's.
The Magnolia State is one of the few states in which I've yet to set foot; hope to rectify that before it's all said and done.

Welcome @oldwelder, so glad to have you join us! One thing that I have learned about gardening is that I never stop learning. I think that is part of the reason that makes gardening fun, there is always something new to try.

Ahoy and welcome from the North Atlantic.
One thing I love about the forum is learning from people from all over. Especially with tomatoes, there's always some common problem to ponder. Looking forward to hear about your garden this season!

Welcome. Lot’s of tomato lovers here, north to south, east to west, even international. Good to hear even an old tomato grower is still learning new ways to grow them.

Welcome! I just introduced myself here a few days ago. I’m not in 7b, but I bet your summer heat and humidity is pretty similar to mine. (Southeast Texas.) Like others, I am betting you have a lot to offer here.

Welcome from NE Mississippi and SE Wisconsin, split my time between the two. I have a place northeast of Fulton a few miles but bring my plants back to WI to plant.

Re: New from NE Mississippi
Last year when I joined TJ I had been coming here for a long time before I joined in, it’s a great site for tomato growers all over the different zones, as I have gotten older over the years I have had some health problems like a lot of older folks get, I got hit hard with several health problems this past winter and spring and the growing season, I had already got my tomato seeds germinated in my hot house and transplanted to the larger six packs growing good just waiting on planting time when it all hit me, I was also moving a 24x48 greenhouse closer to one of my out buildings that has electricity and water, I gave away 100’s and 100’s of tomato and pepper plants to friends and other growers and still had to throw away a lot of plants, last year was first time in 30 years that I didn’t a have a big tomato crop and a big garden, I am doing better this year and planing to plant and have big tomato crop.

Glad to hear you pulled through it @oldwelder . A lot of us are getting older and have experienced the health issues interfering with our plans, it's no fun. Wishing you a huge success in 2024, and please do join in and tell us about it!
