Pretty Happy in a pot
There are a couple of types I stumbled across recently that look like good possibilities for next year's landscaping with tomato pots ;
Maglia Rosa
Lucky Bee
Has anyone made some great discoveries of cute tomato and pepper plants for spicing up the yard ?

I find all the micros ornamentally gorgeous. My balcony was stunning last summer with multicolor tiny tomatoes. If only the taste was so nice as they look..

I think Lime Green Salad is a pretty plant. Lots of flowers. Sets more fruit than it can mature. Taste is good.

Lucky Bee is an indeterminate and is going to get 8 or 10 feet tall, completely different than Maglia Rosa which is semi-determinate.

Right you are Setec Astronomy, I must have got mixed up about Lucky Bee after reading so many different varieties. Lime Green Salad has a delicious name, have to check that one out. Someone mentioned a while back that Orange Pinocchio is good , but the description " mild flavor " doesn't grab me. Thanks everybody.

I love maglia Rosa for flavor and grow it almost every year, it grows about 4’-5’ tall for me, however it is a wispy plant and needs support so I’m not sure it will fit your yard goals!

Maybe for my pot idea this year I should stick to flowers, and build raised beds for more stout tomatoes next year.
Heritage Seed Market was sold out of all the micros I wanted most to pot. There is all summer to research and look again for seeds after this tomato season's harvest.

@LindaJean don't know where you are but here in CA many of us like to grow artichokes in the front, directly in the ground. Not only are the plants beautiful but so are the show stopping flowers & of course the finished product makes for great eating.

I love Maglia Rosa and grow it every year in a 3-gallon sized pot. Mine get about 4' tall and I use collapsible cages (from the Dollar Store) that fit perfectly. Some people even grow Maglia Rosa in hanging basket sized containers.

That caught me by surprise, it's kind of you to offer. I'm not really sure what to try, my choices usually turn out to be ignorant since I've never grown any micros.
From what I have read Fat Frog, Minibel, Pinocchio orange, and Inkspot look like good ones. I love the name Fat Frog.
At the end of this year I might order some fresh seeds of Elie's Bunny Hop WOW collection and have some to swap too.
