looking for Szechuan Peppercorn seeds
I'd like to grow Szechuan peppercorns, the homegrown peppercorn husks are supposed to be much stronger/potent than the ones you can order online. Does anyone have a few extra seeds?

Good luck with the hunt. It would be mighty cool to grow them.

Good luck with them, whenever you find the seeds. I remember looking into growing it many years ago, when they were not allowed to import them, due to some disease they were bringing in on them (about the same time kaffir lime leaves had been banned). But the seeds were unable, too, and the few times I have looked since, they have been out, though I think I saw them on ebay. I doubt the peppercorns I have would germinate.

I grew a plant about ten years ago from Logees, came alive. It needs to be on a bamboo or twine at first.Itwent to 8 foot ,6 vines.numerous pods.It was growing out of a bottomed out 2 foot rounded container. It is a fierce Rizonous ,the rizone travelled all over.I moved the mother vine into a container for new tower.Note the grape looking black cluster, the white is the for runner of the black pods.

Don’t know if it is the OPoster variety. That plant is all over,20 to 30 foot rizones. To start from seed you gots to sand it down to innards after scarcirication, freezing etc.I have sent to my family up in Pa.in the same manner they sent plant to me,trimmed plastic enclosed etc.If wanted will send from Fla thru USPS if your state is reciprocating in plant product shipping. If I sent live plants ,the medium have all my crud in it,from S Fla.I did garnish bout 1 good lb over the years. We put in freezer. The store bought is kinda high but we like the fact we grew it and used it as intended.pm if wanted ,as long it is legal.Kurt
