Hi from Seattle
Hello everyone,
I'm seasyde on TV and the same here. I don't post much but read a lot & have learned so much from this community!
We moved into this house in April last year. The yard was nonexistent so everything went into containers. I think I can do 8 or 9 plants in ground and the rest in containers. The problem is choosing what to grow. I've already had 3 "final" lists - always subject to change until the last minute.
I dipped my toe in and bought my first earth box. Will be paying special attention to those threads.
Glad to see to many familiar users here at the Junction!

Hi! I use a homemade version of earthboxes using plastic totes. Some years it works better than others. This past summer the ones in boxes did way netter than the ones out in the garden but still nothing too great. I'll be interested in your experience.

Re: Hi from Seattle
Thanks everyone for your warm welcome.
I ordered the EB using the Black Friday sales, and it is still sitting in its carton in the shed. No time to play with it yet!
I'm sure I'll have questions when the time comes.
I've made a couple of SWB from the buckets from Big Orange. They do all right except for the largest plants. This summer the striped german was a Very Unhappy Camper in the bucket. I'll see how things go with the EB. Can't wait!

Welcome Lorri! I’m a ‘container grower’ here in Florida and have gotten no end of great ideas from TV and this new forum.
