The everLUVin' irony? I'd just thrown their 2nd catalog out yesterday ahead of their alert email this a.m.

It was a good source for nematode-resistant hybrids last year.

I ordered only two things. I always feel kind of bad doing that but I’ve got lots of seeds and they know what they’re opening themselves up for. Got two free packets in the bargain, too.

I only ordered one thing and felt so guilty about it I actually emailed them and asked them not to include the two free packs of seeds in my shipment. No luck. They replied immediately -- a personal reply, not a canned message -- and said the seeds are automatically included in all orders, no matter the size. So, not only did I not succeed in assuaging my guilt, but I managed to make things worse by wasting someone's time to email a reply to me about it. Sigh.DriftlessRoots wrote: ↑Thu Jan 18, 2024 7:08 pm I ordered only two things. I always feel kind of bad doing that but I’ve got lots of seeds and they know what they’re opening themselves up for. Re: Seeds-n-Such Free Shipping Thru 01/22/2024
I remember when Botanical Interests had a free shipping sale I ordered only one thing since that was all I needed. I was absolutely shocked when my order came in a gorgeous custom box and the seeds were wrapped in custom tissue. The packaging and shipping definitely cost more than the seeds. Made me feel pretty guilty.
I do think that most of the time it’s a business decision that has to do with cash flow and meeting sales quotas for the month/quarter, so even small orders are likely benefiting the business.
