@Old chef Per Tatiana's Tomatobase, "History
a.k.a. Aker's West Virginia Potato Leaf
Ted Corbett of Germany (GERM CO T) got the seed from Linda Anderson of Mantua, Utah at Dave's Garden. Linda got Aker's West Virginia seeds from Sand Hill Preservation Center in 2007 and upon growout of 20 plants 3 were potato leaf plants. Linda kept one potato leaf plant and grew it alongside the regular leaf plants. She noticed the fruit were the same as the regular leaf fruit but larger, and production was double that of the regular leaf plants. She saved seed from the potato leaf and grew again the following year with the same results and that is where Ted's seed came from. Ted saved seed from potato leaf plants and grew it in 2010.
First offered commercially by Gleckler Seedmen in 2011."

Thank you for the research. It is amazing how well it produces, size of plant and disease resistance.

Thank you Linda Anderson!
