Caveat emptor
It seemed like a great deal...
The Miracle Grow Performance Organics garden soil was on clearance , not a big discount but enough to be thrilled about it . I asked my son to pick up 3 bags. It wasn't until after I was emptying the second bag I noticed clear tape the entire length of one side. That's some strong tape and an amazing slick job I might add, I'd like to get some ( but not clearance tape ). The next bag had a huge patch too, ugh that explains the price. They don't say " Buyer Beware ! " for nothing.
It's too late now to recover the dirt back out of the garden and tape the bag to return it. My precious MG probably ended up the same per pound as paying full price. On the bright side if it had been one atom heavier this old lady couldn't have lifted it.

A patched-up garden soil bags are a special kind of betrayal. They look fine at first glance, but then boom, you’re halfway through and realize someone did a stealthy duct tape surgery on it. Still, at least your garden’s getting some love, even if Miracle Grow pulled a little miracle on the packaging
