I'm going to try The Einstein Revolution and American Government: Constitutional Foundations to start. They have some nice offerings on government and current events. Hopefully it will help me to have a more open opinion.

The amount of variety in the subjects is amazing, and all free no less ! Some of the music courses may interest you more than or as much as basket weaving, worth. So many ways to enjoy learning about our world.

Some of those fluff sounding courses might be meatier than one may think. I can envision a college elective course in basket weaving that teaches evolution of art, history, geography, and world cultures.
