Hello from CT
Hi,
Just joined this forum after unsuccessfully looking for Tomatoville where I used the same username. I'm in CT, zone 7a. Happy to share seeds although it's probably too late for this year's growing season. I had posted on Tomatoville about a tomato I'm calling for the moment "Not Raya Rey" that I grew from my last remaining seeds from Fred Hempel--this plant produced chartreuse green fruit with green stripes instead of red fruit with green stripes and was one of my best last year. I am growing saved seed out this year to see if it will come true. Unfortunately I'm not sure if the original post on Tomatoville is gone permanently.

Hello and welcome to the Junction. You will find many of the members from the 'ville here.
It will be fun to grow out seeds from your Not Raya Rey. It may come true or you may get many different tomatoes. How many plants are you growing?
Unfortunately it looks like M has closed the doors permanently, so for all practical purposes your thread is gone as is so much other wonderful information.

Welcome to the Junction from Down Under @DK2021 . I don't think that anyone knows if Tomatoville will come back. Most of us suspect that its gone for good unfortunately

Re: Hello from CT
Thanks all for the warm welcome! (and @rxkeith as a transplant to CT from southern California, I think where I live is a land of biting insects!)
I have just four "Not Raya Rey" seedlings going. FWIW they all look identical at this point in time. I shared seeds with some folks at work and I've told them the story and that I'd like to know how their plants turn out. I do have the photos of the fruits from which I saved seed and when I have time might post those again. I'm sorry to have lost correspondence from the old Tomatoville site.
