It took only 3 days for the EBTKS box to travel all the way across the country! And it is still a jam-packed large priority-mail box. I will look through it for the next day and then send it off Monday morning to @Old chef.

I squeezed as much air out of the large zip baggies, as I could without crushing anything, before sealing them. It made a large difference in how much that I could include.

I'll have to get the next address for Old chef.

I did that, and I was surprised that I had space left over. When I took it to the post office, I learned that I had picked up a large priority mailing box, not a large **flat rate!!!** priority mailing box. The cost was $20 more, so I picked up the correct box, took it home, unpacked and repacked (taping all the edges again), and went back to the post office. It still went out today, as promised, though it went out later in the day than I had planned.

The flat rate box is smaller....and I did have to squeeze even more air out of the baggies to make everything fit!

It's been years since I participated in anything like this swap -- especially with such a large box! -- and it was so much fun!

The hardest part was setting aside time in the middle of tomato-planting weather, and laying claim to the whole table while I was going through the box.

Hi Gary, @Tormahto @Tormato ,

I will be ready to mail the EBTKSS box to the next recipient tomorrow but I have not heard from @MelinKS ? Between a Mother's Day cookout on Saturday with the grands, a full day of planting almost half my tomato plants yesterday and spending every evening going thru this amazing box FULL of seeds since it arrived I had the best extended Mother's Day weekend !

If I can't find MelinKS's address by tonight, I'll send you midwestfarmwife's tomorrow afternoon.

With about 5 to 6 participants left to go, divide the number of chocolates left by one of those numbers, and please take that amount. ;)

So, did I fail to mention there was no chocolate in the box but there was a box of Swedish Fish ( my grandkids say thank you ) :-) I would have added a new box of candy but there was absolutely no space in that box :D I was barely able to close it up !

Hi,
When I received the box it had about 3 or 4 squares of chocolate. Family enjoyed them. I replaced the sweet treat with the box of Swedish Fish.

So, you're saying next year there should be one EBTKSS box just for chocolates? ;)

The box came yesterday (Friday) afternoon! Wow! I lost track of time as I looked through all the bags of seeds - a gardener's delight! It does not look as if I took anything out since there are so many. The largest bags so far are tomatoes, flowers, beans, and peas. I have added back to the collection but still have more to go and will sort the peppers and tomatoes today. It always amazes me just how many tomato varieties exist. How can we even choose a favorite? When the box is ready to go out I'll let you all know. Thank you to all of the generous traders out there. :P
